Woodward Research Limited is part of the Woodward Partners group of companies, alongside the Woodward Partners investment banking firm. Woodward Research provides in-depth equity research for companies listed on the NZSX stock exchange, including initial public offering (IPO). Recent changes in the regulations governing the financial markets emphasis the need for, and importance of, thorough and thoughtful analysis of listed companies. Historically, analysis of this type has only been available for a small number of listed companies, and even then has only been available to large institutional investors. Woodward Research is addressing this imbalance in information and insight for smaller companies and investors.

Nick Lewis, CFA
Nick has more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur, chief executive and investment banker. His career began in nuclear engineering, after which he launched a start-up which he later sold for 26x the initial investment. He then joined JP Morgan in New York as credit analyst then a senior investment banker covering the energy, electricity and gas sectors, before being recruited to CIBC to head their energy technology team. Nick has extensive experience executing M&A, IPOs, equity raisings, debt issues, bond underwrites and cross-border transactions. He has a deep knowledge of the utility, energy, and infrastructure and software sectors. Nick was accredited by the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1997.
